Mohamad Essam Abdelaal sonha agora em se tornar o primeiro cosmonauta russo-egípcio.
Astrophysicist Mohamad Essam Abdelaal currently works as a researcher at the Space Research Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences and recently successfully defended his PhD at Moscow Institute of Physics. Last year, he received an award from the Russian Academy of Sciences for the best research in his field. Mohamad also studies the dust on Mars and on the Moon: "This can save technology and astronauts!"
Right now, the Egyptian Space Agency and 'Roscosmos' are discussing whether to send Mohamad into space. And he's hoping for a long-term scientific mission, not just a tourist flight...
